Timbun: The Melody Genius

As a singer, songwriter, mix and mastering engineer and a maestro in music production, Timbun with the melody is a genius as he sits on top of his game, an all-encompassing individual of knowledge, capacity and talent. One of the very few people to juggle all aspects of music production including writing, beats and mastering. Beethoven should come forward 😒

Timbun started out as a piano player in his church at a tender age and has always been passionate about music to the point where he teamed up with a few friends to create a music band before everyone had to aspire to Maguire into university education.

In 2011, Timbun started music production fully after winning a laptop in a Sunday School competition in his Church, once again, Beethoven could never.

He started off with making Trap Beats and drew his inspiration from Lex Luger, however, due to the low patronage of Trap Beats in Nigeria and serious consideration of avoiding hunger, he was forced to learn how to make Afrobeats, drawing his inspiration from the legendary beatmaker, Sarz.

In 2016, he opened up his studio at Agbowo, UI, Ibadan and he was famously known for his great talent in Music production to the point where people referred to him as the ‘Sound god’, an attempt to snatch the title from RunTown.

While he was still a student of the University of Ibadan, Timbun had produced well over 200 tracks and was a major influencer in the school’s entertainment scene.

After graduation in 2019, he moved to Lagos in a bid to continue his music career and break into the Nigerian entertainment industry. He has had major progress in his career having worked with amazing artistes like; Jaywon, Bella Shmurda and Idyl (Winner of The Voice Season 2).

He recently released his first studio project, a four track EP titled ‘Unreleased Tapes Vol. 1’ where he featured his old friends; Lahboi, Dwizztheman, Richie Jr, Twish Alaga and Polas.
