Lindsey Abudei: A Singer Per Excellence
The first time I listened to Lindsey Abudei was on a solo track and tribute to her grandmother, Abu Ya on Brymo’s album, Yellow and honestly, if the song wasn’t recorded in Igbo, I would have argued the song isn’t Nigerian.
It is not known to many Nigerians that during her undergraduate days as a law student, Lindsey started recording and having sessions with MI and his brother, Jesse Jagz.
In February 2013, Lindsey released her debut studio project, an 8-track EP titled Brown. Stylized as Brown: The EP, the project contains three bonus tracks and was produced by Atta Lenell, Jesse Jagz and IBK.
Following the release of her EP, she released her debut album, And The Bass Is Queen in year 2016.
Personally, I feel the urge to always talk about Lindsey to every person I come across because she is the truth, the absolute truth. You should listen to her too.
