ADEOLUWA: The Crowned!

Ain’t it funny how

You keep tryna act

Like I’m not the one

Who brings that euphoria

– Escape [2020]

It’s not difficult to figure from the quoted lyrics that this individual reeks of love and affection over a lover who Adeoluwa actually is.

The Canadian-based Nigerian artiste is a wonderkid who has constantly shown his worth by delivering amazing music, stage performances and banging projects.

Adeoluwa has been singing, literally all his life, but started making music in 2013. He’s mastered the craft to the extent that you might mistake him for ‘the producer’, but he’s a singer, songwriter and amazing performer.

His first studio project was an album released in 2013 titled Saved by The Sound which he did as a student and not doing music full time.

This album was followed with several singles some of which were, All Roads (2016), Let Me In (2018) and the lead single to the next album, S’okan (2019).

In 2019, Adeoluwa released the After Bells and Whistles album – a ten-track masterpiece with features from Mallz, Tonni, C.A.L, Beloved and Chris. That July, he hosted friends and fans at the Bourbon Cafe to a listening party with top industry persons like Kemi Smallz, RooBoy, Sam Dandy, Njideka Enjay and Ose Agenmonmen among others.

While We Wait, a four-track EP was released in 2020 after Adeoluwa’s transition to Canada. This project consists of three remixes from the last album, ABAW and a single, Escape. The EP was also graced with spectacular features from Tova, Kotrell, Oboise, Tomide the Skinny Nerd and ShillzTex.

Adeoluwa released his most recent project – The ADE Day – on the 3rd of November, 2020, to celebrate his 24th birthday.

Adeoluwa has an Instagram live series named ‘Vibes and Suya’ where he hosts conversations with invited guests. His series of stage performances tagged The Adeoluwa Experience, where he performs his old songs with a live band is also worth tuning in to.

Baba Crown’s contagious energy is always on standby as he is ready to dish out a vibrant personality on and off the stage without warning. The fan base is called… The Crown Nation.

Behold the president. Welcome to the Crown Nation!
